A Mark I Ford Consul Cortina with a 1500cc engine. It had a tear-off calendar instead of a speedo, the 0-60 time was about 3 weeks! We went all over the north of England, me and my little car. We ventured as far as the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, and the Scottish Borders. As a 17 year old, I was in love with my car. I spent all my money on furry seat covers and Redex. Later I had an NSU-thingy and an ancient Volvo, but I remember the Cortina as being the best of them all.
